About Us
The Stubbing Wharf is a traditional pub located in a beautiful position between the Rochdale Canal and the River Calder, on the A646 just to the west of Hebden Bridge in the Upper Calder Valley.
We are famous for our great selection of beers, ales and ciders, and we have received a great reputation for our home cooked food. Our family-friendly pub offers a hearty welcome all year round. You can warm up by our roaring fire in winter and sun yourself on the towpath in summer - one of the best places in the valley to catch a few rays while sampling traditional ales and quality food.
Getting to the pub couldn't be easier - you can take a pleasant stroll along the canal from Hebden Bridge (which takes between ten and twenty minutes depending on pace). If walking is not your thing, we also have an extensive car park. If you want to come by public transport we have a bus stop outside that is served by the 590 Halifax - Rochdale and 592 Halifax - Burnley Bus services. Some of our more adventurous customers also arrive by narrow boat on the Rochdale Canal.
The Stubbing Wharf is open all day from noon seven days a week.
Food is served 12.00 - 2.45, 5.30-9.00 Monday - Friday
12.00 - 9.00 Saturday, 12.00 - 8.00 Sunday.
