We have gained a strong reputation for our home cooked food and well-kept real ales, served in our cosy traditional pub where you will receive the warmest welcome. If you are visiting Hebden Bridge we are just a short walk up the canal towpath. We have plenty of outside seating for those sunny days and a large car park for our guests.

Bar open everyday: 12 noon to 11pm (or a little later)
Food served everyday: 
Monday - Friday: 12 noon to 3pm and 5pm to 9pm
Saturday: 12 noon to 9pm
Sunday: 12 noon to 8pm

Landlord Matthew Browne can be credited with introducing a great wholesome home cooked menu and assembling a team of hard working individuals to smoothly run the kitchen. Our food has a great reputation in the locality and we use local suppliers for all our produce.


                   

With Matt in the kitchen there is always something on the menu to satisfy even the most particular of appetites. Alongside our standard menu of traditional favourites and light bites we have a varied selection of dishes on our Specials Board, offer that little bit extra. Booking is advisable for busy periods but not always essential and when possible on Sundays, we open our Canalside room for additional space for non-booked tables.
